Amanna Trust is a Christian charitable organization that was founded in 2015 on the premise that every child deserves access to post-primary education. Since the inception of free primary education in 2003, the dreams of many children enrolled in primary school remained at cross roads because of their parents/guardians’ inability to afford secondary education.
The Trust exists to stand in the gap to enable such children from vulnerable and challenged backgrounds have access to secondary education to enhance their chances for a better future. This is achieved through high school fees sponsorship while nurturing them to their desired career paths through mentoring and coaching sessions.
Guided by a Mission to empowering underprivileged children with tools to positively shape their futures and impact their communities, and a Vision of individuals equipped with to become self reliant, the Trust operates under the Values of;
Access to education is a basic right for all children. Through the EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP, the Trust ensures that children from under privileged and vulnerable backgrounds successfully transition from primary education to secondary education.
The success of our student is an integral part of the Trusts focus. Through COACHING and MENTORSHIP, the students are guided through career paths of their choices by the Trusts Coaches & Mentors. This invites the students into a space where they can dream of their futures and are guided to map these paths and dreams while maintaining the integrity of their of their choices.
Student WELFARE and VOLUNTEER Integration is the Trusts tool in ensuring a wholistic approach in the interactions with supported students nsuring their general welfare through appropriate support. An integration of volunteers who share experiences and a world view beyond the environments the students live in further helps to mold them into becoming global citizens.
